CLARIN Annual Conference 2018 in Pisa, Italy

The CLARIN Annual Conference is the main annual event for those working on the construction and operation of CLARIN across Europe, as well as for representatives of the communities of use in the humanities, and social sciences.

This event is organized by CLARIN ERIC in collaboration with the Institute for Computational Linguistics (ILC) that is part of the Department of Social Science and Humanities, Cultural Heritage (DSU) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR)

CLARIN2018 is organized for the wider Humanities and Social Sciences communities in order to exchange ideas and experiences with the CLARIN infrastructure. This includes the design, construction and operation of the CLARIN infrastructure, the data, tools and services that it contains or should contain, its actual use by researchers, its relation to other infrastructures and projects, and the CLARIN Knowledge Sharing Infrastructure.

Call for Abstracts
The deadline for the submission of abstracts expired on 30 April 2018.

Date and Location
CLARIN2018 will take place from 8 till 10 October in Pisa, Italy.

Programme
The CLARIN2018 programme will include keynote speeches by James Pustejovsky (Brandeis University) and Costanza Navarretta (University of Copenhagen, Denmark) and paper, poster and demo presentations.

The CLARIN Bazaar
The CLARIN Bazaar is an informal space at CLARIN2018 where you can meet people from other centres and countries, find out about their work in progress, exchange ideas, and talk to people about future collaborations. The bazaar will provide an informal setting for conversations with CLARIN people, and space to show your work to colleagues on their laptop computer, and distribute handouts and leaflets.
