This CLEF Workshop considers the smartphone as the main user

its user but has a reduced display. Therefore all outputs need to use
reduce display, give the essential information to better understand and
fully participate to an ongoing event or chose next cultural event to
join.
Task 1 Objectives
This task aims at generating a short summary providing the background.
information of a tweet to help a user to understand it. Given a
microblog announcing some cultural event, participants have to provide a
short summary extracted from Wikipedia that provides -extensive
-background about this event. The summary must contain some context
information about the event in order to help answering questions of the
form "what is this tweet about ?" using a recent cleaned dump of
Wikipedia. The context should take the form of a readable summary, not
exceeding 500 words, composed of passages from the provided Wikipedia
corpus.
